Now that we’ve got the new site up and running, we’re so happy to be able to continue our bilingual Juggler’s Task List Series with the wonderful Penelope Magoulianiti, with short, easily applied tips to help us busy mums juggle the demanding balancing act of work, family and self. This week, Penelope gives us her Tip #2 in English: Stop caring about others’ opinions! With a printable sheet to fill out and keep in your diaries, these little snippets of wisdom are worth a read!

We’re also very happy to present part 2 of our #AskTheExpert series with local psychologist, trainer and transformative coach Karolina Galdych, talking about Parenting with ease. This week, Karolina discusses how a negative state of mind is detrimental to parenting with ease and that, with more awareness and by changing our thinking we can reach a calmer self: http://bit.ly/2yqVmDD

The inspirational Catherine Beger is in the throes of organising a play that she’s hoping to perform in theatres and schools around Cyprus in order to raise money to help refugee families this winter. The aim also is to raise awareness and understanding about cultural differences and how to share a common space together. It will be a language-less comic piece so that it can be understood by everyone.

A huge undertaking like this requires money, admin, flyers, petrol for the actors, rehearsal payment, venue hire, set construction and… the list goes on! The show will premiere on November 25th in Larnaca and Catherine is hoping to raise enough funds to take the show on tour across the island. She’s asking for help… whether in the form of money, time, labour, printing costs, taxi drivers, set construction… in whatever way you can and wherever you live on the island. If you’ve got something you think you can contribute, you can contact Catherine by telephone: 96 216 435; email: Catherine.beger@gmail.com or through her facebook page: www.facebook.com/Little-Muse-Young-Peoples-Theatre-137261063100576/ or event page: www.facebook.com/events/1622693017788881/

One of our Larnaca Mums is looking for a baby bouncer to borrow/buy. If any of you can help, please send us an email to: hello@mumsincyprus.com

Traditionally, there are a lot of events taking place across the island from October through to Christmas, so make sure to keep checking our Events page regularly for new events. With events searchable by location, category and listed clearly by month, we’ve got you covered! If you’re hosting an event yourself, please feel free to upload it on to our Events page directly: http://bit.ly/2gcxnOv. It’s all very quick and simple (and is another great members-only privilege for you all!).

See you online… it’s where we all get together!
