These past couple of days have been crazy hot on our beautiful island so I think it’s time for some home made ice cream!!!
I will eventually give my son store bought ice cream with all the sugars and 100% not healthy but for now, I try to find recipes that taste good and are healthier for him. Let’s face it, at this age (16 months old) he will pretty much eat anything I give him. 🙂 Don’t forget mommies, we are the ones that introduce them to new stuff so try and forget what you like as a taste and search the web for some healthier choices that are also yummy. It takes some effort but our little ones are so worth it.
- Frozen fruit ( you can choose any kind of frozen fruit, I chose strawberries and raspberries)
- Almond milk or coconut milk ( I used almond milk )
- Yogurt ( any Greek yogurt will do )
- Cute containers 🙂
