Wow… we had a great time yesterday at Cyprus’ very first Dance-a-Thon! Huge congratulations to the entire CIWOT team for the amazing amount of time and effort that went in to making it happen and to the Free Flight Dance team who kept everyone dancing throughout the day! The grand total of monies raised for the Cyprus Autism Association will be announced shortly. BIRTH FORWARD MARATHON – Get back in to shape!

Local pancypriot NGO Birth Forward will be taking part in this year’s Limassol Marathon in the 5K Corporate Race as “Birth Forward – Run For Family”. Those of you looking to get back in to shape after having a baby can join their team of mums and families supporting each other in getting fit and raising money for this fantastic non-profit organisation. You can run, jog or walk the 5K and if you have a baby/toddler, they can also join you in their buggy.

They will be meeting for weekly training sessions along Limassol seafront. The route has been tested and is good for large wheeled strollers. For more information on how to join the team, go to their event page here: http://bit.ly/2D3B9DW

One of our dear friends and the heart of the Limassol community, Mary Anglberger, is leaving the island soon. We’ll be so sad to see her go. Mary is selling her solid wood bedroom set, bought for 1200 euros less than a year ago, for a bargain 500 euros (or as separate pieces – 200/200/100 for the chest)!
